With app in purchase its expensive. Otherwise nice clever game.

Very good!

This is a fun board game simulation with interesting campaigns. The UI is not perfect, there are still some bugs and the developer is not responding to emails. Also the AI players in some situations prefer doing stuff against you, instead of targeting the other AI with more points than you have.

Dice throw results are completely biased, especially on higher levels this becomes an obstacle that ruins the whole gameplay. How its possible that the computer puts two of his starting villages around the resource numbered 3 and he keeps on throwing 3 throughout the rest of the game. Moreover, this applies to other players as well. Typically it doesnt really matter whether you occupied the best "6" or "8" fields. The computer still gets resources one after another. The only "winning" strategy seems to build your settlements next to the computer, because these are the most probable numbers to-be-thrown. Rubbish!

Great iPhone version of a great game, dont miss!

Complicated enough to keep you interested for weeks and months but still easy to play due to user friendly interface. Suitable for ages from 7 to 70

Excellent turn based strategy!

Unfortunately in the C&K addon the game has too many crashes and interface issues on the iPhone 5s. On a iPad the game works perfectly in all modes.

Paid twice for iPad and iPhone version!

I played the desktop version with friends. Actions fascinating, but always there was a question distributing as cards of resources, and to throw cubes. It isnt absolutely convenient, takes away part of time. Now it is possible not to waste time and to enjoy game!

I play this a lot bc I love Catan, but this app really is not that well made. Its not so bad that I dont play however... But mostly I play offline. The pros: -pretty easy to figure out the features -AI players are pretty good, pretty realistic, but could use some more that are more willing to trade Cons: -online needs timers. I actually take a little while when first starting, bc thats where I think much of the game is decided. Maybe 1/2 my games someone leaves during this time bc their too impatient. The timer should be one for setup play (1st 2 turns) and a separate timer for other play. That way when people are joining a game they know what to expect -screens need to have a button to allow a view of the board (which they DO have for the robber?!?) -if offered a trade you should be able to counter with the option of falling back to the original offer. -in online mode, if people drop the board should stay up and whomever created the table should have the option to allow someone to take their place: just like the hugely popular yahoo online games.

Extra maps are excellent & functionality is just like the board game. Give it a try. Youll enjoy if you like the board game.
